2008 President's /Leukemia Cup Regatta September 6 - 7!  Online President's Cup registration is now available.  Check out the NOR here.  See who is pre-registered here!   Here is an 8/14/ update from Loree about L&LS fundraising.  To register for Leukemia Cup and to set up your online Leukemia Cup fundraising Web site, go here.

This evening's AccuWeather forecast (always subject to change) calls for gusty winds and periods of rain, heavy at times, on Saturday, as the remnants of Hurricane Hanna pass through.  Consequently, ALL RACING IS POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY! There is no need to appear at the marina on Saturday.  The AccuWeather forecast for Sunday calls for nice sailing weather, however -- NNW at  8 -9 MPH.

The Sunday Schedule is revised, as follows: Registration 8 - 9 AM; Skipper's Meeting 9:30 AM (upper course); first gun 10:30 AM (upper course).  Lower Course Skippers Meeting is at 11 AM; first gun TBD. No races will start after 1500.  The dinner and awards ceremony will be from 4:30 - 6:00 PM.

Now Available! Click here to sign up for 2008 RC Duty slots!  PROs are all in place; drivers and helpers can sign up now.  This year RC assignments are by fleet; sign up for a day when your fleet is scheduled.  If your fleet is not scheduled for any days (or if your fleet's scheduled days are already booked) then select any open slot of your choice.

New Procedures for Operating the 16' Carolina Skiff!   We continue to have issues with the ethanol in the gasoline causing the carburetor to gum up, making the engine difficult to start and to keep running at idle.  We are working on new refueling and operating procedures that we hope will keep this from happening, but in the mean time the 16 is OFF LIMITS to all PRSA users.
